Banana Nut Muffin

Today is indeed a lovely day. My heart bleeds for I shall not be at the gates of heaven for another two days... how can I continue without the presence of rubber bats and scallion pancakes? It is truly a reason to mourn- but I shant! I will relish in the anticipation of a glory so near...
I have brought a peep to school today! She is pink and seems to be enjoying herself immensely. I tried to leave without her this morning, but she saw blue peep leaving with me and threw a little fit. So, being the devoted woman that I am, she has sat atop each classroom desk she encounters (in full view of blue peep). She squeals now and then in the midst of a lecture- but with a few hearty pats, she calms herself readily. She is most adorable.
I am hoping to perform "North of Providence" again today... I adore the character of Dolores, despite her tacky mayhem. The sequence I've been working has been comming along slowly but steadily... I really don't understand how Rhode-Islanders can't master thier own dialect. It's a very simple thing to do- remove all of the "r"s from words. Car=caaa, tater= tataaaa....
The painting I'm currently working on is a complete and utter mess. For whatever reasons, I can't stand working in several variants of light. I prefer to just pick one source of light- but, most of all, I prefer my work to be abstract. I'm afraid I have little patience or talent for renderings.
I am rather hungry... I have eaten shredded wheat for breakfast with orange juice; so my yearning does not seem to have a logical origin. Perhaps it is boredom.
I need to find some sewing patterns this afternoon... I am devoid of patterning and my fingers are growing limp from despondancy...
I'm afraid I don't really have much more to say.

Au revior!

A very silly lolita.

A Beautiful Day

Today was a truly beautiful day... from the drafty overhangings of downtown cabinetry to a marathon of The Addams Family. What more could a girl ask for? I have been super busy- chipping away at college applications, photography presentations and WRITING WRITING WRITING. I think I'm going to be taking up sewing again- (hence the title- I adore lolita-style clothing). The delicate charm of Rococo with the saucy flare of modern lieblings. I am amidst a most delicious read- "The Monk". To anyone who has not read this book, they are deeply deprived. I've yet to divise my religious response to Pslam whatever... it's exceedinly difficult responding to something you have little faith in (and find laughable). I'd much rather retire to my chambers and indulge in the depths of Grimms Fairy tales- they are fiction and provide a variety of moral values- but do not claim to be anything beyond their appearances- stories. I've been eyeing Alice and Wonderland for quite some time now- but for some odd reason, have not found the time or motivation to attack it. I have finally selected my senior headshot for the yearbook and placed the finishing touches on my Proutian collage. Oh joy of joys! I can only await the endless delights of another day... a day of North of Providence monologues, of ramen noodles and endless frolicing. And so I bid to the world my nightly farewell- auf wiedersiegn and au revior...
A very silly lolita.
